Are You Sick of the Same-Old-Same-Old?
Have you ever taken some time off from your internet-based business to step back and watch the emails, Facebook posts, tweets, and teleclass listings that are sent out day after day, week after week? After doing that for the month of June, I came to the conclusion that 98% of anything sent to me was junk or uninteresting to me. That’s pretty harsh, I know, but it’s true.
The only things I cared to read were things from people I knew, liked and respected. Not only that, but it also had to be informative or entertaining. It had to be heart-felt… something that really struck a chord and connected with me. Otherwise, I quickly trashed it. I was too busy having a life! (As are most of our clients and prospects, btw.)
That’s why when I got back in the saddle in July, I vowed to only send information that is useful, informative and really connects with people.
